If Michaelangelo Lived Today...
If Michaelangelo lived today, I believe the picture of fat David would be his representation of the condition of many Americans today. It is said that Italy wants the statue of David back in two years...does this have anything to do with the attitudes/condition of Italians in their superiority over obese Americans? that they do not want the real statue of David to represent fat America but a lean and strong Italy? It might be true, but these are important questions to infer about differences in human condition.
